Skyrim VR... Day 3

So day three... I picked up some quest to go get a gold claw from a barrow. No problemmo, newbie quests should be fine right?

Wander up a mountain, get 2-shotted by some bandit. I've got the hang of using SAVE though, so I restore and have that fight a couple of times until I manage to get past.

Oh, that's not the barrow, just a random ruin. Okay.

Keep heading up the mountain. That looks more like a barrow. SAVE. Because y'know.

Wander up. 2-shotted by bandits. Repeat/rinse a dozen or so times.

Ok this is BS. Reduce difficulty setting from default "Adept" to "Apprentice".

Ok good, now I'm only getting 3-shotted by bandits, but that gives me enough time to cast my healing spell and if I manage to take them in groups of 2-3 instead of 6, and I time things perfectly, then I can finally get past them.

Get INTO the barrow finally. There's 4 bandits in there. They kill me a few times until I figure out I can sneak and use my bow and they can't see me even if I'm firing arrows point blank into their faces.

Feels cheap, but got past them eventually too.

Can't aim for squat with the bow yet, hopefully I get the hang of it with some practice.
