Skyrim VR... Day 2

Since day 2 was a repeat of half of day one, it started pretty fast... pick a lock, loot some treasure, follow dude, kill baddies. SAVE.

Dark as hell. Kill some baddies. SAVE.

Follow dude. Kill some baddies. SAVE.

No CTD this time.

Just some frostbite spiders. Maybe 6 of them?

I was like “fuck, spider!” and then died.

So next time I was like “fuck, spider!” and then died.

And the time after that I was like, I know there’s spiders, but “fuck, spider!” and then died.

Those spiders killed me about a dozen times before I was able to get past them and out into the main world… not expecting a boss fight in the intro sequence. I tried flames, I tried healing, I tried sneaking. I don’t even remember how I beat them in the end.

But once I was out in the main world, I looked around and wow, it was pretty. Two moons, stars, very otherworldly.

My guide said I should head to a town called Riverwood, where his parents lived, so that seemed like as good a direction as any.

I wandered to the town, chatted to his parents, the villagers, got a few quests, chopped some firewood, crafted a dagger and such... newbie quests are much more fun when they aren't full of spiders.
